Full-Time Retail Telecoms Sales Consultant

An opportunity exists to excel in sales as a Sales Consultant for an award-winning Telstra Dealer, market leaders in telecommunications retailing.

The purpose of this role is to meet customer needs by selling communications based solutions (including Fixed, Mobile and Data) to predominantly small business customers, in an increasingly competitive market place.

You will work as part of a Telstra Dealer Sales team, working in the store directly with customers. Success will be achieved through face-to-face and over-the-phone, solution based sales and demonstrations. As a sales specialist, you will be required to gain an understanding of the individual customer's needs, and present specific product solutions.

You will be articulate, mature, maintain a high standard of personal appearance and presentation and be able to engage clients from a diverse range of backgrounds and professions.

You will be accountable for achieving individual KPI's set in conjunction with your Store Manager and your store’s Area Manager.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate proven ability in the following:

• Experience in a customer sales and service environment (Business Specific capabilities are highly regarded).

• Achievement of sales targets designed to challenge you and improve overall business performance.

• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.

• Experience in the telecommunications and/or retailing industry (Telstra product experience highly regarded).

• Innovative merchandising of products and store visual presentation.

• Solid computer skills.
