This may seem like a strange request for the baby sitting section but all the ads in the pet section are for people advertising dog walkers so thought I would give this a try instead.
 
We need someone to dog sit for our dog on a regular basis.  We travel a fair bit and we are hoping to find someone who would be willing to dog sit and house sit for us whenever we go away, and if you wanted to provide some additional walking during the week every now and again, we would be happy to talk to you about it.  When we are away you wouldn't have to do much, just make sure that the dog has had plenty of exercise, been fed and watered and the rest of the time can be spent watching TV with the dog or sleeping (just like normal babysitting really)  Our dog is quite strong so if you aren't confident handling animals it probably won't be suitable for you.
