There is a possibility you’ll be working with other families, as childcare is a little bit of an issue in our town. We have at least 1 family interested in weekly Nanny share, and 2 others who need a few hours per week. This will be achievable on your intended roster.
We're open to offers on length of stay, and other stuff.
Are you Daring enough to take up the challenge? We’re looking for a adventurous organized aupair to live with a busy family in Outback South Australia.
The family live in a dynamic Mining community with a population of 5000 people. We are 600km's north of Adelaide, and 260km’s from the next nearest (large) provincial town.
We are a friendly easy going family. We are very flexible with our Au Pairs and will ensure a good work/recreation balance. Also we will give adequate time off for trips away.
> Mum works in her own business, and for a Mine Engineering company.
> Dad works for a major mining company.
> Two kids aged 6 and 3 enjoy a busy social life.
> We have two friendly dogs who like barking at the neighbours >:o(
The job entails helping run the household while Mum + Dad are busy working and will include light house work (eg: cleaning up after the kids, kids lunches, keeping their areas clean and tidy, baths etc.).
We'd like it if you could cook meals for the whole family a couple of days a week, to help out.
You'll be looking after 2 children: a 6 year old girl who has just started school & a 3 year old boy who's at home & will be receiving most of the care.
> Applicants must love kids and be able to have the imagination to keep (high maintenance) kids occupied at all times.
> Have at least 5 years child care experience.
> Must be a competent driver.
> Be able to live with Dogs.
> Be able to live in a remote area (with plenty of facilities and an airport).
> Be able to work long days.
> Have a friendly outgoing manner and be able to intergrate well into a family/community.
> Be level headed with common sense .
> Have a Senior First Aid certificate or be able to obtain one before commencement.
> Be able to provide a Federal Police Clearance.
> Have good time management skills.
In return we can provide you with a friendly family atmosphere, all your expenses paid and use of our car.
Wages will be paid hourly, and we’d guarantee around 30 hours per week.
