Date Listed: 24/07/2008 Thanks for your time! I'm an experienced drummer with vocals. I've been playing around all the top venues in Adelaide for a number of years. I have been playing covers in a variety of bands, doing pub work and corporate work. I'm looking for a working band, rather than a band who still have a lot of rehearsal time left before getting out there. I can get up to speed very quickly with vocals and drumming. If given copies of your material, I can be playing in the band within a week (or two .... at the latest). I can learn the reportoire in my own time and keep rehearsal down to a minimum. I can play all styles. I like to bring the song alive rather than just keep the beat. However, I don't overplay. There is a lot of light and shade to my playing style. I've played everything from 'full on' Pub Rock where you leave a crack in the back wall, to corporate gigs. These require a wide range of playing styles .....beginning of the night low key balads at low volume, to middle of the road as the night warms up, to 'as Rocky as it gets'. I've also done cabaret work, weddings, wine bars and the like. I've been playing in bands where the age groups have ranged between 25 to 45. However, I'm not concerned with the age of players, it's the music that I'm interested in. The bands I've played in have always performed at a high standard. I am professional in my outlook, reliable, punctual. I'm easy to get along with. I'm in it for the fun and love of music. I've always worked in harmony bands. I have transport and top equipment.
